Reading for Incoming Freshmen
In preparation for the upcoming semester, we ask that all incoming Honors freshmen read the Honors Handbook, chapters 1 (Areté in Action) and 7 (Adjusting to College Life). Both are provided here on the Honors website

Your Textbook for Honors 1010
The Honors Handbook, required text for all HON 1010 classes, will be on sale Thursday, Aug. 27 from 1-4:30 pm, and Friday, Aug. 28 9-10:30 am and 1-3:00 pm for $30 in the Honors Lounge only. If you’re not able to buy your Handbook during those times, try stopping by next week.

HPEO Online
Students can manage their HPEO/HAS scholarship progress online. Once you receive your username and password via email, go to http://honors.tntech.edu/hpeo to login. A tutorial and detailed information is available as well.

Apply Now to be a 2009-2010 CommitteeChair!
Now is the time to apply to be an ASG committee chair for the upcoming year. If you're interested in chairing one of the committees, read the committee descriptions. [PDF] before applying. Student Highlight: Katy Long
Between her World Cultures and Business major with a concentration in German, the fitness classes she teaches, dance commitments, her current term as Honors Council Chair and ASG President, and her recent year of study abroad in Austria, TTU Honors student Katy Long seems to be on top of everything.
